Sharing my work, experiences and insight.
After receiving my Masters in Human Rights Law from the Irish Center for Human Rights at NUI Galway, I moved to India where I worked as campaign coordinator for a small human rights organization. During this time, I conducted research on violence and police reform. Here, I began to study the way that technology could help address the issues affecting marginalized communities.
Studying the intersection between technology and human rights led me to join a technology partner of the United Nations focused on developing technology solutions for sustainable development.
In the past 10 years, I have evolved from intern to Director. Today, I am the Director of Strategic Learning at the END Fund. An incredible organization working to eliminate 5 neglected tropical diseases! An extremely ambitious and mission driven organization tackling one of today’s biggest challenges.
At the END Fund, I am responsible for the END Fund’s impact measurement strategy and data initiatives. I support the organization’s growth by promoting data collection processes that allow for evidence-based decision making and highlight the impact of our model and our donor investments. I am very interested in learning different approaches to measuring impact.
Prior to joining the END Fund, I led an education portfolio – with a special focus on the implementation of UNESCOs OpenEMIS Initiative. A data initiative designed to help ministries of education improve they way they process information. This role was a combination of program, project and product manager.
Throughout the years, I had the pleasure to work on many UN initiatives, such as WASH, DevInfo, The World We Want, MICS and OpenEMIS, in a number of countries around the world.
I am always open to hearing exciting opportunities and for ways to connect!
